| Due to the ever-changing political situation
in countries of destination, we plan several alternative enterprises,
so we could respond without delays.
The following projects are just before finishing off, still
in research or planning:
Where the world is still wild.....
End of June 2003 Wolfgang Uhl and his companion
of the journey, Patrick McCormack, travelled to Africa.
Destinations were Tchad, Cameroon and Nigeria. And in all
three countries was rain season, which didn't support anyway
the difficult and dangerous situations in those areas.
During the trip, Wolfgang formed some relationships with custom,
police and army, to prepare the next TV production in those
areas. Since 1999 in Tchad
there is no German embassy, or the Moslem north of Nigeria,
which doesn't either make the trip secure. But in our opinion,
sometimes it appears different,
the German foreign office warned that in those three countries
you have to expect to be robbed by bandits; or even warn explicit
to travel to Tchad.
This difficult undertaking was supported by the companies:
VAUDE, SIMPERT REITER, MAGELLAN, LUGER, LOWA, KATADYN, ZARGES
and CAMEROON AIRLINES.
